Carlos Alcaraz: The Rising Star of Tennis
World No. 1 and Current French Open Contender
Carlos Alcaraz, the 18-year-old Spanish tennis player, has taken the world by storm. Ranked as high as world No. 1 in men's singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), he is the current world No. 6.
Alcaraz has been in impressive form this year, reaching the semi-finals of the Australian Open and the final of the Indian Wells Masters. He also became the youngest player to win the Miami Open, defeating world No. 2 Novak Djokovic in the final.
At the French Open, Alcaraz has been in solid form, reaching the last 16 with a straight-set victory over Filip Krajinovic. He is now one of the favorites to win the tournament and become only the second Spanish men's player to do so after Rafael Nadal.
